Hello Everyone! Today I am sharing my productivity tips for work and school from home during the pandemic. It is that time of year, back to school. For the next few weeks, I will be posting content that will help you to be successful this year in the midst of such an unprecedented time. (unprecedented=never done or known before) Today I am starting off the series with a quick post in which I will list my productivity tips. I am hosting a webinar on this topic on September 3; 2020, so please tune in to that to get the in-depth benefits of the topic that only a webinar can truly offer. It would mean a lot to me if you came to my webinar, so please click HERE to learn more. Without further ado, let’s get into the post!
During the final semester of school last year and during summer break, I learned a few valuable things about how to successfully be productive at home. At first, I made all of the mistakes possible. At the time, I didn’t appreciate it, but now I can tell all of you what to avoid, so for that I am very grateful! 🙂 In the first few days of online school, I did my school work in bed frequently. I ended up feeling sluggish and unproductive all day. What I didn’t know was that location matters. I also learned that having a device nearby that is constantly pinging with texts from friends and family is an immense distraction! I learned so many things that I can’t explain them all to you in a normal blog post length, so I highly recommend that you tune in to my webinar and get all of my productivity tips there. For this blog post, I will give you a list that will be further explained in my webinar. Ok, ok, enough webinar promotion! I am just really, really, excited. Enough procrastination, here is the list.
Work/School From Home Productivity Tips
- Don’t do your homework or office work in bed!
- Make an area that is strictly for school and work, nothing else!
- Move all unnecessary devices from the work area, yes, phones and other tech. included!
- Only text and call friends after work or school, that means no face timing in class!
- Take breaks! If you can, go outside in between classes or calls!
- Wear blue light glasses, if you don’t you may suffer from headaches, eye twitching, and dizziness!
- Drink water regularly and stay hydrated, aim for eight glasses a day!
- Treat yourself and take brain breaks, yoga; walks; and talking with friends are great ideas!
- Set a time to be a school or work every day, and stick to it!
- Eat healthy snacks, do not eat chips/crisps, and cookies/biscuits every day!
- Set a time to have lunch every day, it is important to fuel your body and stick to a schedule!
Thank you so much for reading this post! I hope that this helps and that you attend my webinar on September 3rd. I can’t wait to see you there! Look out for the following posts in the back to school series.
