Having an overstuffed dance bag is common with dancers, but doctors and dance teachers are starting to say that the extra weight is bad for you. Both in the studio and outside of it a heavy dance bag can impact you. Let me help you by sharing these tips.
Extra’s
1.Extra leotards and tights(or whatever dance clothing is required for the dance class)
2.Extra ponytail holders,bobby pins(hairspray is optional)
Snacks
1.Water
2. Nuts, or pretzels(any dry non-sticky snack)
Equipment
1. Theraband(resistance band)
2.Small ball(for rolling out feet and tight muscles)
3.Mesh bag(holds dance shoes/airs them out so that your dance bag doesn’t stink)
Bring Extra Clothes and Wet Wipes(you don’t want to come out of the studio smelling stinky and wearing a leotard.)
Just Remember that the key to having a light dance bag is to only pack what you need and not to worry about the “What If’s” they are usually worst case scenario.
