I thought that since I love to let all of you know about the awesome products that are out there, I would tell you about these awesome pens. The Tombow Dual Brush Pens are pens that I have recently started using. I originally bought them so that I could use them to make watercolor art, but after some research I learned that these pens are also great for coloring, decorating, and journaling. Naturally, I tried using the pens in all of these ways so that I could give them an honest review. I found that these pens are very versatile and can be used in many different ways successfully! There are some perks to these pens but there are also a few things that you might find bothersome.
The Tombow pens have two ends. One end is a brush tip and the other end is a bullet tip. The brush tip is rather easy to use and it is great for large details and for filling large areas with color. The bullet tip is also fairly easy to use but it is at its best when it is used for fine details and small areas. The bullet tip is stiff and it isn’t very fun to use. I have found that the bullet tip is great for journaling, fine details in art, and calligraphy.
When I used the pens for watercolor painting I was very surprised by the vibrancy of the colors even after being blended with water. The colors were bright and they didn’t look dull or old even when I used very large amounts of water. When I used the pens for journaling I noticed that the colors were also beautiful on notebook paper and they brought my journal to life!
On the contrary, these pens are rather expensive. If you don’t find a good sale you could end up paying the average price of Twenty-seven dollars for these pens!
