Hey Everyone! Today we are talking about something that is very near and dear to my heart, the misconceptions about beauty. First we need to address the fact that beauty isn’t skin deep. The definition of beauty in 2020 is a huge fallacy, most people hear the word and then immediately link it to external features. While a person can be pretty that is quite different from a person being beautiful.Beauty is defined by a wonderful personality, admirable personality traits, and a good heart. Pretty means something that is appealing to the eyes. Makeup enhances your external features while doing good things and building your self confidence and character builds beauty.
The main reason that the misconception of beauty is so large is because as girls we often forget to value ourselves. Valuing yourself is extremely important. The problems that arise when we fail to value each other and ourselves are immense. A way to start valuing yourself is to start viewing yourself positively. As soon as you recognize your own worth and beauty your life will change for the better. You won’t feel as pressured to be “pretty” because you will already know that you are beautiful. You will be confident to the point that you will feel like you are practically glowing. And you could inspire others to recognize their own beauty.
I would like all of you to realize that beauty isn’t skin deep and that what’s inside is much more important than what’s outside. Your character and your intentions determine your beauty. Exhibiting positive traits and being kind are great ways to be your best self. At the end of the day be confident and knowing your worth are some of the most important things. Be confident that you can achieve your goals and don’t give up! You never know what is waiting for you in the future. Remember that you are a beautiful person, never allow yourself to believe differently.
Here’s to valuing ourselves in 2020!
