Overcoming Stress (Guest Post By “K”)

I know very well how stressful school can be. I completely crack under pressure and stress just keeps building up both inside and outside of school. I have been having a lot of low times from stress but I have found a way that has helped me relax and take a breather.
Personally I love listening to music; it has really helped me through some tough times. If you are feeling to much pressure I suggest finding a quiet place like your room or a park near by and just sit there listening to some calming music. It may sound weird but another thing you can do while you are there is talk to yourself. It is always easier to get your feelings out try to analyze a situation if you talk to you yourself. Just talk aloud about things you wouldn’t be comfortable saying to anyone else because the only person that truly understands you is yourself.
There are plenty of other ways to de-stress but these are the more simple ways you can do it without having to go all out of the way. I hope this helps someone in need of a little advice cause I’m glad that I have found out these ways to relax and get away from a stressful situation
