Hello Everyone! Welcome to Live Life The Girl Way, a web-based Girls Empowerment Organization for girls everywhere. I’m so glad that you are here! My name is Lily Wachuku, and I am a teenage Content Creator In The Girls Empowerment Space and Motivational speaker. That means that I am here to empower and encourage all of you to be your best selves! I intend to help all of you to reach your full potential and achieve your dreams by encouraging you and giving you advice, resources, and motivation at every step of the way. My main goal with this organization is to help all of you as much as humanly possible! I strive to show all of you that you can achieve can do anything that you set your mind to, and that being a girl doesn’t stop you from pursuing anything that you want to do. Let’s figure out life together! My personal goal is to inspire all of you with every post. This organization features regular content pertaining to achieving your goals and dreams, being confident in yourself and your abilities, and avoiding limiting your positive opportunities in life.

How does a teenage girl start her own organization with such a lofty mission?

I wanted to be a change-maker since I was quite young. As I grew older that ambition to make a difference in the world only grew. I have always been fascinated by the fact Learning about Susan B. Anthony, Elizabeth Cady Stanton, Martin Luther King Junior, John Lewis, Mae Jemison, and Shirley Chisholm I was inspired to join them in using my voice to make a difference . However, I wasn’t always sure of how I could make a change, so I searched for an issue that I was passionate about. The search for my passion proved to be stressful since I discovered that I was passionate about many things. I found that I wanted to decrease world hunger and political corruption, and to help girls to feel empowered to reach their goals. It seemed impossible to decide which to pursue but ultimately I decided to explore what excited me and therefore was most passionate about, girls’ empowerment.

Being a girl in society today comes with many challenges, many of which are under the surface pressures formed from many years of girls and women being limited in what they could achieve. This built in pressure can cause lots of insecurity and self-doubt in girls and women today as we find ourselves daring to achieve more and breaking more glass ceilings. Which brings me back to this organization, I want girls and women everywhere to know that sometimes self-doubt comes knocking at our door, but it’s crucial to believe that we are amazing and able to accomplish all of our goals and dreams. I’m not perfect, I’m not more specially equipped than you, however I am a teenage girl with a mission, some goals, and a couple of dreams. Let’s Live Life The Girl Way together! So What’s The Game Plan?

Many girls today don’t have faith in their abilities. I created this organization to encourage girls to be their best selves, to go confidently in the direction of their dreams, and to love and appreciate the girl in the mirror. Each person is unique and that doesn’t go away when we are talking about girls. It’s time that we learn to love ourselves and have faith in our ability to achieve all of our goals and dreams. Nothing compares to the power and opportunity that comes with a girl that knows her worth. I know that the world doesn’t change for the better when good and passionate people do nothing. This organization is a safe space for girls globally where they can come to have access to content that empowers and encourages them to achieve all of their goals and dreams, to be confident in themselves and their abilities, and to never limit their positive opportunities in life. Live Life The Girl Way equips girls and young women with resources to support them on their journey to their dreams and increased self-confidence through helpful Articles, YouTube videos, Podcast episodes, motivational quotes on Twitter and so much more!
