Hi Everyone! Today I have a special post for all of you, especially those of you that aspire to become engineers. Recently I heard about a young woman named Tiera Fletcher. I thought that her story was really inspiring and naturally I couldn’t wait to tell all of you about what I had found! There is a website called engineergirl.org and it is a great resource for girls that dream of becoming Engineers. The website is www.engineergirl.org.
On the website you can read lots of articles and watch videos about engineering, learn about what engineers do, and you can learn how to become an engineer, all by using that amazing website! As I was exploring the website I learned about Tiera Fletcher and I was amazed by her story. If you want to learn about Tiera’s story you can just click the green words in this sentence. On the website you can ask engineers all kinds of questions and they will answer them. They will even give you advice on how to get into the engineering field!
I encourage all of you that are interested in engineering to never give up on your dreams. And also to work hard towards achieving your goals as well as using every resource that is available to you. I know that you can succeed! And I need all of you to know for yourselves that you are fully capable of success as long as you work hard and refuse to let others discourage you.
