About Fuel Her Dreams
In Malawi, many girls dream of the chance to continue their education after primary school, but unfortunately, most do not gain access to secondary school. This is the case because of many factors such as resources, funding, and the economic status of many families. For example, more than 50% of the population in Malawi lives on less than two dollars a day causing expenses like school fees, school uniforms, and school learning supplies to be just too far out of reach. Because of the lack of funding to educate most girls in Malawi, the fire that burns in these ambitious girls is often extinguished long before they even reach secondary school. By ensuring that these girls get the education they need we can help to reduce the exploitation of girls through early marriage and help to cultivate awareness among the Malawian people about the importance of educating girls and the greater significance for the future of their country.Â
The Fuel Her Dreams initiative by the Live Life The Girl Way organization was an effort to enable and empower girls by providing them with the resources that they need to achieve all of their positive goals and dreams. Live Life The Girl Way fund-raised via UNICEF USA to provide for the secondary education of girls in Malawi. The goal of this campaign was to raise money for the education of 20 girls in Malawi in 2021. Due to your kindness and generosity, we were able to raise $3,005 to successfully educate nearly 17 girls (16.977)! Your donations helped to break the cycle of lack of female education in Malawi and made a big difference. I cannot thank you enough for your support of the “Fuel Her Dreams” initiative and your dedication to being a part of positive change in the world. Let’s keep making positive change!Â
