How Volunteering In Your Community Promotes Self Confidence And Combats Insecurity

Volunteering is a very good thing to do for your community and it is always wonderful to be a part of something positive. But what many people don’t know about volunteering is that it also promotes self confidence. There are usually many volunteering opportunities in communities. Often times you don’t have to look very far to find a great volunteering opportunity! When you find the right opportunity you should definitely volunteer and see what happens!

Although volunteering isn’t usually seen as a therapeutic activity, it definitely is a great activity to get involved in. It is great for when you are trying to get rid of insecurity or just helping your community! Volunteering often makes you feel really good about yourself!  Those good feelings are often a result of the work that you are doing. When you feel good about yourself you chase away any lingering insecurities and you replace them with feelings of pride and confidence.

Getting rid of insecurity is very important! Over time insecurity hinders you from achieving your goals and dreams, so it is very important to diminish any insecurities that you have as soon as possible. I am currently volunteering in my community. I am helping to run a program called VBS. VBS stands for Vacation Bible School. It is a program that happens during the summer that helps to educate children about the Bible. I am having lots of fun! Volunteering all week definitely motivated me to write this post to inspire all of you!

It is very important to always remember who you are!  You should be confident in your own skin instead of comparing yourself to other people. It is also important to try positive things so that you can find what your interests are. You never know what you might find! I wouldn’t know that I enjoyed blogging if I had never tried! That’s right, the world wouldn’t have Live Life The Girl Way! I encourage all of you to be confident and to encourage others to be confident as well. We can all get rid of insecurity together!
