The Importance Of Encouraging Yourself

We live in a world that is full of pessimism and pessimistic people. The way I see it a pessimist is basically a doubter.I won’t let doubters break me down and neither should you. It is so important to encourage yourself in the face of pessimism and just in general. Since we all face pessimism everyday we should encourage ourselves daily.

Encouraging myself daily has worked wonders for me in my everyday life and I am so happy that it has. If you encourage yourself daily you will find that you will be happier and you will be more willing to achieve your goals and dreams.

I’ll tell you a little story about the importance of encouragement. When I started to write this blog I got so much hate from other people and I almost let the doubters get to me. Luckily, my parents encouraged me and they believed in me, so by default I believed in myself. If I hadn’t been encouraged I doubt that I would be the blogger that I am today and I doubt that I would be such a confident teen. The moral of the story is that encouragement is very important for yourself and for others.

I challenge myself to encourage someone that I see in school daily. I’ll admit that it isn’t always easy but in the end it is very rewarding when you see them walk away with a skip in their step or a smile that spreads from cheek to cheek. Everyone deserves to be encouraged so I would like to challenge all of you to encourage someone daily for the next two weeks and see how it makes you feel. If you enjoy this I encourage you continue doing it, and over time you will see the difference that it makes in the lives of others including your own life.

Just to clarify, encouragement is not the same as peer pressure so make sure that you are telling people kind and reassuring statements just like the ones that I tell you.
