Hello Everyone! Today we are going to be talking about finding your dream. As many of you know, my favorite phrase is Dream-Succeed-Achieve.<\/strong> Today we are going to be tackling the dream part of Live Life The Girl Way’s tagline. If you are anything like me, you probably want to achieve great things and live your dreams. The problem comes in when you don’t really know what your dream is yet. Never fear, Lilynator is here! Today I will be starting a series that will equip you with the skills that you need to go above and beyond in the world. These skills will help you to achieve all of your goals and dreams so that you can dream, succeed, achieve, and create your own destiny. Let’s go!<\/p>\n

As I said before, today we are going to start with helping you to find your dream so that you can focus on working hard to make waves in the world. The first step to finding your dream is to realize that you might actually have several dreams. For these purposes, I will help you to find out what they are. Afterward, you can choose which goal you want to start focusing on first. When finding your dream you need to have an open mind and a curious spirit. A good way to start is to evaluate the things that you like and bring you joy. I know what you are thinking, “Lilynator gets carried away sometimes” but let me assure you that if something positive\u00a0<\/strong><\/em>brings you joy, there is probably a reason.<\/p>\n

When you find what makes you happy, start to look for how sustainable that thing is. Ask yourself the questions: “Can this turn into a career later in life?”, “Can this make the world a better place?”, and “Does this make me truly happy and excited when I talk about it?” If you said yes to any of those questions, there is a good chance that what you chose is definitely your dream and a good one at that! The next helpful thing when finding your dream is to try new things. Trying new things is an excellent way to find out what brings you joy and what you are passionate about. Volunteering, interviewing people in different positive<\/em><\/strong> interest areas, and joining new clubs or groups in your community or school are great ways to try new things.<\/p>\n

Since Covid-19 currently makes those kinds of social activities difficult, this next suggestion might be perfect for you! My last tip for finding your dreams is to attend online events and do online research about things that matter to you. Even if you don’t have any ideas, the internet is your friend! Try searching for common hobbies or interests of people and see if anything “sticks” or seems appealing to you. Just make sure that you are using the internet safely<\/strong><\/em> and if needed turn your safe search on! When in doubt, ask close friends or family for suggestions of things that you might like.
